Sports help in developing physical fitness, building team spirit, leadership skills, and making new connections. RIDGGC provides the students with various opportunities in terms of both indoor and outdoor games. Indoor Games include Table Tennis, Chess, Ludo, Chinese Checker, and Carrom. Outdoor Games include badminton, Volleyball, and Flying Disc. The college organizes Annual Sports every year which gives the students the ability to showcase their talent at games which is a huge opportunity for the youth of a remote and backward area like Jangalmahal. These sports activities encourage the students to take both success and failure in their stride which instills the sportsmanship spirit in them. The college hosts various events on annual sports day like running race (100m), skipping race (50m), slow bicycling race (50m), relay race (50mx4), discus throw, shot put, etc. The average participation in sports across the years has been more than two hundred and fifty. Teaching and non-teaching staff of the college have been actively participating in and organizing the annual sports, making it a successful event every year. Apart from these, the college also provides the students with the opportunity to exercise in a gymnasium equipped with modern amenities. The college also has facilities for Yoga. Yoga helps connect the body, mind, and soul. Students practice yoga under the proper supervision of teachers. Stress is part of everyday life; thus, yoga and sports regularly help reduce stress, boost energy, and stimulate the production of happy hormones.
