When there is an idea, there is innovation, and when innovation and ideas flourish, the entrepreneur prospers. RIDGGC has set up an incubation centre ‘Srijita’ under the supervision of NSS Unit-I which provides a platform for students, alumni, and faculty to nurture innovative ideas and transform them into viable business ventures or impactful projects. Thus, the incubation centre empowers marginalized women to become self-sufficient. It prepares them to face real-world challenges, enhances employability, and contributes to the overall success of the centre. The cell also helps students to market their products and develop entrepreneurial skills. The art and the products represent the local culture and regional diversities.

Srijita showcases a variety of handcrafted items made by the students of the college, including:

• Lipon Art and Sculpture Paintings
• Home decor made from Sabai Grass
• Embroidery and Crochet Bags
• Hand-painted Mandalas and depictions of rural landscapes
• Traditional Kutum Katam art and paper dolls
• Origami creations
• Upcycled items such as pen holders, wall hangings, and bottle art made from recycled plastic
• Hand-designed kurtas and sarees with intricate patterns.

The entire centre has been built and decorated by the college students, taking approximately six months to complete. Students play an active role in the operation of the centre.
