Established in 2023, the Placement Cell of Rani Indira Debi Government Girls’ College, Jhargram is a dedicated unit committed to bridging the gap between academic excellence and professional success. Tasked with overseeing the placement process, the cell is committed towards creating a robust platform for students and alumni to interact with recruiters, understand industry expectations, and explore career paths aligned with their aspirations, thereby enhancing employability.

The Placement Cell ensures a seamless recruitment process by maintaining strong relationships with industry. Regularly updated industry insights, job market trends, and alumni feedback enable the department to tailor its initiatives to meet current professional demands. Also, collaboration with faculty, students, and industry experts ensures a holistic approach to career readiness.

Still in is nascent stages, the Placement Cell works tirelessly to provide students with ample opportunities to showcase their flair and expertise by routinely organizing campus recruitment drives. Moreover, the Placement Cell facilitates pre-placement activities such as seminars, workshops, grooming sessions, mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and mentoring for the students to improve their knowledge and skill base and make them ready for deployment in the industry.
