The Alumni Association of Rani Indira Debi Government Girls’ College, formerly Jhargram Raj College (Girls’ Wing), was formed by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in 2022. The college alumni association keeps track of former students enrolling in higher education (like PhD) and their placement activities.

The aims and objectives of the Alumni Association are as follows:

Alumni association provides a variety of resources to assist former students. This could include access to library materials, labs, and other educational facilities.
The association helps to reconnect with ex-students and teachers of the institution, leading to career opportunities or simply an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and acquaintances. Graduates may benefit from alumni directories and online social media groups as well.
Providing opportunities to expand professional network. Career fairs, career counseling, seminars, webinars, remedial classes, and networking events can provide valuable information to the students.
The association motivates the ex-students to participate in various college events like cultural programmes, sports, etc.
